FPGAcademy

A hub for learning about computer hardware with FPGAs

Welcome to FPGAcademy! We provide educational resources that supports the use of FPGAs for teaching and research in University and College courses, or for use by hobbyists. You can explore our materials by using the tabs on this page. Most FPGAcademy resources are available as open-source files via GitHub.

Our teaching and research material is intended for use with various DE-series boards. These boards offer a variety of input and output ports that are useful for teaching and research, and feature Intel® FPGAs and SoC FPGAs.

Some teaching and research materials rely on software tools and intellectual property from Intel corporation. Access to these Intel products may be obtained by becoming a Member of the Intel FPGA Academic Program. We are grateful to Intel for making this material available, and for donating Intel resources to support teaching and research.
